Could one open an exact copy of the window / tab just being shown?

Could one open an exact copy (same filter / search, marked drive in the folder panel, etc.) of the window just being shown or a special window in a new tab or window, e.g. by pressing a shortcut, for example CTRL+T? Or in another way duplicate a tab, e.g. by dragging and dropping a tab with the mouse?
