Current Alpha Stability? Progress? ETA to Beta?
Current Alpha Stability? Progress? ETA to Beta?
Could you please update us with a quick note on those 3 questions regarding Everything v1.5? Thanks in advance!!
Re: Current Alpha Stability? Progress? ETA to Beta?
It's stable.
It progresses.
Like fine wine says, (no wine) before its time.
Everything "Alpha" is more stable then most releases.
Nothing is perfect, so if it fits your needs, go for it.
(Note the similarities to this response to the same questions asked before.)

Current Alpha Stability?
Stable. Most regulars on these forums use it as their daily driver (including myself). Without issues.
From a different perspective:
Everything 1.5 is much more stable and reliable than the Windows version you are also using.
Also: Everything is a file search applications. It doesn't make a lot of changes to the system. What can go wrong? Worst case you have to reinstall Everything.
(Everything 1.4 and 1.5 can run side-by-side (default), so you can always fall back to 1.4 )
Progress?
Take a look at the changes, you will see that new features and fixes are rolled out at an insane pace.
I even have a hard time keeping up just using it
ETA to Beta?
@void does not provide exact time schedules, other than "this will be included/fixed in the next update".
So no ETA. Just enjoy it as it is; it will only get better ...
