There is a task that repeatedly comes up, and that is to create a new folder and also enter it. The first part is easy at the moment (Ctrl-Shift-N) and you type the name but then end up in the parent folder with the new folder moved, so the second part is a pain if there are already a lot of folder siblings to what you created.
Can I recommend the following -
* A command that a shortcut can be assigned to (doesn't have to be on a menu) that creates a folder and on creation leaves you within it. I would think a popup asking for the Folder name would be sufficient and easy to implement, rather like FileZilla does with its "Create Folder and Enter It" item.
Cheers, David
New Folder AND Enter it
Re: New Folder AND Enter it
I'll consider an option to do this from the folder sidebar.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Re: New Folder AND Enter it
OK I've an even easier suggestion for this!
When in the folder bar you create a new folder (Ctrl-Shift-N) and type the name, then -
* As currently, Enter commits the name and does as usual, keeping your results list intact
* But Shift-Enter could commit the name and move into the folder, resulting in a blank results list
