How to show the find bar?
How to show the find bar?
I acciedently opened the "find bar" by pressing CTRL+F in another instance. But I cannot find it anywhere in that or another instance (e.g. in the Kewboard tab or else). How could I show it (without shortcut) and how could I make a shortcut for it?

From the Edit menu, click Find....
To bind a keyboard shortcut to Find...:

- In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Keyboard tab on the left.
- To the right of Show commands containing, search for:
find - Select Edit | Find....
- Click Add....
- Press a new keyboard shortcut (for example: Ctrl + F) and click OK.
- Click OK.

Ah, didn't think search / "find" would be under "Edit". But maybe more under "View".
OK, done. Somehow pretty confusing for low brain workers.
Why at all are their different shortcuts in different instances, since I copied all the settings / shortcuts to the instances from the main instance, I think?

If you imported settings from Everything 1.4, Ctrl + F will be bound to Search Edit | Focus Search Edit.

No, I didn't, I first hat the main instance of 1.5, then copied the settings (if I remember correctly).
