Updating ETP index

Hi, I set an Everything instance to save settings in the local folder, and to reindex the network folders every six hours. Then I created a service, it's ran as a service, and I access it remotely. But the index does not update every six hours, it does not update at all. Did i misconfigure something? Or i need to run another everything.exe with a scheduled task, to update the index overnight, then close
