To show thumbnails for File Lists:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Advanced tab on the left.
To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
    filelist
  • Select filelist_thumbnails
  • Set the value to: true
  • Click OK.

  • Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
    /filelist_thumbnails=1
  • Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
  • If successful, filelist_thumbnails=1 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
Press F5 in the result list to reload thumbnails.

Why not updating, we are at version 1346a ?
Using Alpha versions means that one has to check for updates more often.
This new config option makes many steps much easier.
