Attach images to Private Messages?

Question: Would it be reasonable, possible to permit attached images to private posts?

But you could always post a link in the PM to an image hosted elsewhere.

I have done that, with links to my own domain, but I know from experience that some users are not allowed to access personal domains, or else are somewhat apprehensive.

It's too easy to abuse, I don't want users to be able to send other users images without moderation.

If PMs were just to me, then yes, sending an attachment would be ideal, but it doesn't look like phpBB supports this.
