[feature request] add thumb size 512*512 to be included to the bookmarks

greetings ..

i wish to have the option to include the 512*512 thumb size to be saved in the bookmark too ..

in a previous conversation here, void told me a tip to manually make everything able to display 512*512 thumb size and it was very helpful and works great for me ..

the problem is i can't save the current view to a bookmark, and when i make a one, it go back to 256 thumb size.

and even with the bookmark manual edit, there is no thumb size 512*512 to choose.

the attached photo show a full screenshot with 512 thumbs displayed but the bookmark limited to save 256 thumb size ..

hope to find a workaround todo this .. or see this feature added to the future builds of everything

I will consider large thumbnail support.
Thank you for the suggestion.

A couple workarounds:

Add /view-thumbnails 512 to your bookmark:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Bookmarks menu, right click your bookmark and click Edit.
• Change the View to: (Use last setting)
• Click in the Search box and move the caret all the way to the end.
• Hold down Alt and press ENTER.
  (this will add a new line)
  Copy and paste the following line:
  /view-thumbnails 512
• Click OK.

Make sure you have set max_thumbnail_size to 512.



Consider increasing the scale of Everything:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the UI tab on the left.
• Please try adjusting the UI scale to 200%
• Click OK.

another related question ..

if i use "crtl + scroll wheel" to adjust the thumb size inside everything window to get the perfect view and the suitable object-count per row ..

how do i find and know the current "thumb size" that makes this perfect "workflow" view..

..

i tried this command and everything gives me the same

thumbnail_size=32

whatever thumb size and view i set or use, even in the detailed view, it gives the same results ..

Unfortunately, the current thumbnail size is not shown when there is a view command in your filter.
(your Everything filter is either setting the view or setting the search to change the thumbnail size)

The size that is shown in the statusbar is what Everything will revert to when you change your filter.



Another quirky way to show the thumbnail size (up-to 256x256):

• Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
  /bookmark_remember_view=1
• Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
• If successful, bookmark_remember_view=1 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
• The above only needs to be done once.
• From the Bookmark menu, click Add to bookmarks....
• The current thumbnail size is shown under View.
