Hi Void. Have I understood some parts of this thread correctly?
I am a small user; one (old) laptop.
A single folder with 80 Word2003 DOCuments, totaling 7 MB, but the folder contains 310 PNG screen snapshots totaling 17MB.
A small user.
If I continue to use Content: as I've been doing for the past month it will probably not be a time-consuming effort; my DOC files, (in total, not just the text part) will probably be sitting in a Windows file buffer area in RAM.
But as I grow in terms of bytes of DOCument text content, then "Content Indexing" might reduce search time significantly, once the Content Index is built.
I noted your comment that "Content:" is, to Everything, Just Another Property.
Thanks, Chris
