History of Everything?

I have found Announcement but (sigh!) that goes back only as far as Everything 1.2.1.371, March 17, 2009.

Curiousity value only: is there somewhere where is lodged news of the first version? Was it before I was born?

I gather that an older forum crashed, folks had to re-register. Are those old posts visible at all?
