To show a Parent Name column:
- In Everything 1.5, right click the result list column header and click Add Columns....
- Search for: parent
- Select Parent Name and click OK.

No, you'll need to double click on the text in the path column.

You'll need to click Select and add the Parent Name column here too.

If you press Alt + Home does Everything show the correct order?
If you close the window, then reopen the window, is the order correct?
Do you have a filter enabled with custom columns? -filter columns will override your home columns.

The home search is only applied when you press Alt + Home or show a new window.

As long as I have pressed these keys the home filter obviously is shown. When I release them e.g. the Everything filter is active obviously.The home search is only applied when you press Alt + Home

You can set the default filter under Tools -> Options -> Home -> Filter.
