My company uses Citrix Sharefile to - you guessed it - share files.
So far I have been keeping my production files on my local machine and using Everything to search them.
I would like to save some space on the computer by migrating files to the Citrix server; however, for some reason Everything refuses to acknowledge the existence of the Citrix drive.
The files appear in my file browser as a disk drive, "S:".
I have tried everything I can think of, including trying to use the built-in FTP function, but that didn't work for me either. FTP is confirmed to work with a standalone FTP client using the required implicit SSL/TLS settings provided by Citrix.
As a last-ditch effort I copied my portable installation into the S: drive and Everything can't open, stating that its own filepath doesn't exist!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Everything + Citrix Sharefile
Re: Everything + Citrix Sharefile
Try using Everything v1.5 from viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9787 and see if you can add the mount point then.
Re: Everything + Citrix Sharefile
Okay, it shows up in the menu with 1.5a but contents aren't/can't be indexed for some reason. See the screenshot below.
Re: Everything + Citrix Sharefile
Please try adding your Citrix drive as a folder index:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Folders tab.
- Click Add....
- Select your Citrix drive and click OK.
- Click OK.
Re: Everything + Citrix Sharefile
Yup, that did it.
Thanks for the help folks.
