Everything has been very fast about indexing and updating until last year but I think after last or the update before it "Updating Database" action after a restart started taking so much time and cpu power.
When I delete the database completely and re-index whole system it takes about 20 seconds to index the whole PC. But after some time when I restart the PC, Updating Database action takes like 1 hour and uses about 10-15% CPU the whole time. Only way to solve that is deleting the index again.
Is there a way to solve this annoyence? I attached my indexing settings just in case.

Something is making a lot of changes to your file systems.
Please check your PC for viruses/malware.
Please make sure there are no stuck Windows updates.
Please don't compress your database.
Uncheck Tools -> Options -> Indexes -> Compress database.
Compressing your database will make Everything much slower at the cost of a few MB.
Please make sure Everything is able to save its database to disk.
Please make sure Everything shutdowns gracefully when you shutdown/restart your PC.
Disabling database compression will help here.
Please make sure Everything is installed correctly and running as a standard user:
Please try the Everything 1.5 alpha.
Updating is done in the background and you can check what is spamming your file systems with the Index Journal from under the Index menu.

- Click the General tab on the left.
- Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything. (Everything may not save your database to disk if unchecked)

- Click OK.
- Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
- Restart Everything.

I tested the 1.5 for a week and problem hasn't repeated. I haven't even seen the database message. Either the new version or removing the compress option did the trick.
I'll report again if the issue reappears.
