Is there a feature to enable smooth scrolling in thumbnail view, such that the thumbnail boxes will glide up and down the screen?
The current fixed cubbyhole boxes are a bit disorienting to me, especially when scrolling in Extra Large Thumbnail view or when Everything is resized to a small corner of the screen.
I understand if there are a lot of results, that dragging the scroll thumb up/down, or using PgUp/PgDn, should lock the thumbnail grid in place as it does now. But using the mouse wheel, clicking the scroll bar up/down buttons, or using the Up/Down keys should permit for smooth scrolling steps. I don't know what those steps should be... 0.333 0.25 0.125?

Re: Thumbnail view smooth scrolling?
If it's an option so people can choose - as I prefer fixed positions:- I generally use the arrow up/down to move one line at a time and watch that line.

I will consider a smooth scrolling option.
I will consider an option to scroll with pixel offsets. (no item alignment)
Thank you for the suggestions.

On further thought, the pixel offset ideas seems pretty dumb. I guess it's pretty fine the way it is, and animating the thumbnail slots seems like a lot of work.
