Folder-Bar : Expand All Folders

Post by meteorquake »

It would be handy to be able to right-click a Folderbar folder and expand all subfolders (recursively, perhaps it could ask for depth, blank being unlimited), then you see them all in tree context to choose from. Not top priority but hopefully it could find its time at some opportune moment.

You can press * on a folder to expand all.

-or-

Hold down Shift and right click a folder and click Expand All.

So many thanks - the * doesn't work on mine (a laptop "Turkish Q" keyboard layout with only one * key), but shift-right-click works!

I'm curious, does the * on your keyboard expand folders in the Windows Explorer treeview?

I tried that too (and with various modifiers) and it doesn't, so shift-right-click seems the only way, which is absent in Explorer... d
