I don't like seeing the “Omit Results” text in my status bar, so I use Tools > Debug > Config to open my “Everything-1.5a.ini” file, then add statusbar_omit_results=0 to it, save, then restart Everything when prompted.
When Everything restarts, the “Omit Results” text is gone (yay!). BUT, if I close the window, then search for a file, when Everything appears again, the “Omit Results” text is back. If I try to disable the “Omit Results” text by entering the /statusbar_omit_results=0 command in the Search Bar, nothing happens. When I look in my “Everything-1.5a.ini” file, I see search=/statusbar_omit_results=0 instead of just statusbar_omit_results=0.
Basically, how do I completely disable the “Omit Results” text from being displayed? Thank you!
/statusbar_omit_results=0 keeps getting reset
Re: /statusbar_omit_results=0 keeps getting reset
I'll assume that the pref has changed to (rather then statusbar_omit_results)?
See if setting that fixes things?
statusbar_omit

@therube: This worked! Thank you
Re: /statusbar_omit_results=0 keeps getting reset
This setting name should never have been changed.
I'll leave the setting name as statusbar_omit and I will update the documentation.
Thanks for the bug report.
