How could one go back to the content of the result list shown before? The same method one can do for the searches here:
E.g. 1.) a search result is shown, you click "Explore in Everything" on a selcted folder (or you do a new search, etc.), the new content / result is shown. And now you want to go back to 1.) a search result is shown, the window you had before (also the same as you can do in a browser, you can go back to each tab you have had before by clicking the left arrow on the browser or pressing the BACK key). Is there a shortcut doing this or an item?
Go back to the view before - history of result list windows / views?
Re: Go back to the view before - history of result list windows / views?
I am not aware of a keyboard shortcut, but using the mouse, there are a couple of options:
- In the Folders sidebar, 'CTRL + click' the activated folder (the one you chose for 'Explore in Everything')
-or-
- In the Folders sidebar, click on Everything (at the top)
-or-
Double-click the path in the status bar.
There is anoher option: To remove this path when the Folders sidebar is closed. But when closed, the 'Explore in Everything' option is not available. I guess this is not what you want.

Re: Go back to the view before - history of result list windows / views?
Thank you very much!
Many thanks again.
This seems to work for the last view only, not for the views before the last view. And often it does not work here. It somehow is enconvenient here.- In the Folders sidebar, 'CTRL + click' the activated folder (the one you chose for 'Explore in Everything')
OK, a bit enconvenient here as well somehow. And only workin to get back the last view, not the ones before?- In the Folders sidebar, click on Everything (at the top)
For the last view only it seems. When I click "Explore in Everything" twice for two folders I cannot get it to work. This is the best one.Double-click the path in the status bar.
Yes, I have the sidebar always shown. There is anoher option: To remove this path when the Folders sidebar is closed. But when closed, the 'Explore in Everything' option is not available. I guess this is not what you want.

Re: Go back to the view before - history of result list windows / views?
My bad! I assumed this was just for the previous view and not the views before that.
I don't have a solution for what you want.

Sorry for my bad expression.
But that is good, at least you can go to the last view.
Thank you !
