After testing out windows 8, everything still beats Win8's own search tool. But there are random bugs like files can't drag n drop, database wouldn't update anymore, etc.

Could that be because Everything is running with Admin privileges, while you are running with less (Limited or whatever it may be called)?

Where is Everything "installed" (Program Files or something like that)? Where is its database (somewhere under %APPDATA%)?
What if you were to "instal" (put) it & its database somewhere else, a place of your choosing?
