Apply and cancelling

When changing a setting in options, if I click apply and then cancel, the changed option remains rather than reverting back to the original setting.

Is this intentional?

Any chance of changing this behaviour? I normally use apply on Windows to test something out before committing.

This will most likely not change.



The Everything usage to test an option:

• Change your setting.
• Click Apply.
• View the applied setting.
• If you wish to revert.
• Manually revert your setting.
• Click Apply.
