I run a new instance of Everything with this command line
-instance Backup -db Backup.db -no-auto-include -config Backup.ini
The main instance of Everything is using the service and the option hide on close is enabled and I have a tray icon
When I close the new instance,I configured everything(no ini only options)and when I tried to close the window of that new instance, the windows just hides and I cannot access it because clicking on the tray icon brings the main instance
Even tho there are two instances, the tray icon is used for both of them and if I disable the tray icon from the settings on the Backup instance,it will also hide the icon for the main instance
If I close all windows of the main instance and then run the new one,I will not have access to the main one until I exit the new one
I am using Version 1.5.0.1294a (x64)
Is this some kind of bug

Re: Is this some kind of bug
Thanks for the bug report vsub,
What version of Windows are you using? -I will test this my end.
Could you please send your %APPDATA%\Everything\Everything-1.5a.ini and your Backup.ini to support@voidtools.com
Is there a blank icon in the notification area?
Does the issue persist after a system restart?
-There is a bug with Windows when the last time the tray icon was shown is over several days ago.
The icon will appear blank and unresponsive. (Easy to test by changing the date in the bios, on Windows Startup, tray icons will not appear until another restart)
Is this a recent issue? It might be caused by the recent addition of a tray icon GUID when registering the icon.
I will experiment with having this disabled in the next alpha update.

Re: Is this some kind of bug
I am not sure if that is windows bug but after I exit both instances and run them again,I got two tray icons
I tried closing both and running them again and both icons appeared again
I am on win10 home with the latest update
The backup settings is a new file with the default settings
There was no icon for the second instance at all while I was creating the thread
The main instance was running for at least a week without closing it

Re: Is this some kind of bug
The icon guid was added to help prevent the Windows bug mentioned above.
However, this bug still occurs with an icon guid.
Everything 1.5.0.1301a removes the tray icon guid.
Please let me know if the issue persists with this version.
