I don't care how slow it is.
I have a 8TB USB drive on my Synology Router.
It is mapped to Z:
I normally use \\10.0.1.1\ISB8TB to map it as Z:
I have an old Drobo NAS. I have it mapped as V:
I normally use \\10.0.1.2\Drob5N to map ot to V:
I can easily access this drives using Linux only the slashes change but I am using Win10 now.
There are two places in Everything where I can enter in ftp devices in tools.
I have looked at the examples in the help but none work
What and where must I make my entries to access the Z and V: drive?
Thanks

Re: I need to search NAS devices use Everything
To add your Mapped network drive to your Everything index:
If you are unable to select your Mapped network drive, please make sure Everything is running as a standard user:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Folders tab.
- Click Add....
- Select Mapped network drive and click OK.
- Click OK.
If you are unable to select your Mapped network drive, please make sure Everything is running as a standard user:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the General tab on the left.
- Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything
- Uncheck Run as administrator.
- Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
- Click OK.
- Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
- Restart Everything.
Re: I need to search NAS devices use Everything
Hi,
Thank you for this, I have done both and on the second after adding four NAS drives and clicking "Apply" I then hit OK and get a spinning blue circle and the Title bar on the "Everything Options" says (Not Responding). Is this just wait for it to index 891GB of files or did it choke and freeze up? I need to keep working so I am wondering how to keep it indexing while I move forward?
