I have a strange problem with Everything, it doesn't seem to scan the files in my system32 folder. I'm running Vista Ultimate x86 and the latest version of Everything, done the checks in the sticky, reinstalled Everything, removed all the filters, nothing helps. Also I'm running as administrator on the machine.

Some files in the system32 folder are hard links.

"Everything" will not include hard links.

Does "Everything" find the system32 folder when you search for system32?

Try restoring ownership of the system32 folder.

Hmmm, Everything finds the system32 folder but files under the folder seems to come up totally at random. I've tested with a couple of exe and dll files, some show up, some don't. I have also restored ownership of the folder.
