Not long after booting up, I found everything had written a lot of data
Use crystaldiskinfo to view the hard disk data, and found that it is not norm
Last time I used the computer 2.5 hours, and everything was written about 28GB, but the hard disk space does not seem to be occupied.
I don’t know if it’s a display error or a bug, what needs to be set?

The IO read/writes in the Task Manager includes read/writes to pipes (not disk).
The Everything client communicates with the Everything Service over a pipe.
Everything only writes to disk on exit.
There might be a shell extension writing to disk?
What is shown in the Resource Monitor for Everything?:

It seems that I have a misunderstanding of the IO read/writes in the Task Manager。void wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 9:50 am The IO read/writes in the Task Manager includes read/writes to pipes (not disk).

In the resource monitor,everything read/writes very little。
System and xtuservice.exe(intel) take up a lot of hard disk resources,It's very strange

Please note that some disk read/writes from Everything.exe will appear under system (not Everything.exe)
Please also take note of any files being written to by system in the Resource Monitor (or other program).
Expected reads on load: 100 MB per 1 million files.
Expected writes on exit: 100 MB per 1 million files.
