regex and Advanced Search

I would find it convenient if after selecting a search directory via Advanced Search it would not be necessary to enter the regex modifier and not be necessary to also escape the directory separator Instead it seems reasonable to turn on regex w/ a click of a button and the regex modifier would appear and the escapes performed automatically Thank You Kindly - Cheerio

I will consider an option to use regex (and avoid using the regex: search modifier) when using the advanced search.
For some searches this will not be possible.

I will consider an option al automatically escape paths when toggling match regex.
