I am wondering if there is an existing method to click on a bookmark and have it merely append to the existing set of search terms.
I notice that holding Shift or holding Ctrl while clicking a bookmark will open a new Everything window.
Could we perhaps reassign one of these keys to instead append the bookmark to the existing search?
I keep several bookmarks (many of them with macro names) that are usually used in combination with a path name that is already in the search bar (thanks to /hotkey_explorer_path_search=1). It would be nice if holding Shift (or Ctrl) while clicking a bookmark would just add that verb (or custom macro if one is set) to the search bar.
Additionally, or alternately, the Bookmark editor could add the Search drop box option "Append", with "Custom" and "No change".
The current behavior is to delete the contents of the search bar and replace it with the bookmark Search text.
Method to append Bookmark to existing search terms?
