Puzzled what my mistake is here please?
Why these apparently non-matching hits?
Re: Why these apparently non-matching hits?
Match Path is enabled, most likely.
Note the highlighting.
libraries, libraries, & LIBRARIES are highlighted in the Name: column.
So what is being found is OpenSCAD\ (from the Path: column), & libraries (from the Name: column).

Re: Why these apparently non-matching hits?
Thanks but same results either way. It was enabled (presumably by default) so suppose I don't really understand its function. With it disabled it still gives the folder hits.

Then...
It's going to deal with the \'s.
And whether there is a closing \ or not.
(There is some meaning in there, that I'm sure is noted in the Search help [but as I don't typically care one way or the other, I don't particularly know, offhand ].)
So add a trailing \ to your search.
Or keeping your existing search, you could do something like, parents:>3, which would change the results similarly (but not the same, necessarily).

Re: Why these apparently non-matching hits?
Thanks, a trailing'\' fixed it.
