I want to exclude my removable drives (H: E: F:) and some folders on my C drive from having their properties indexed.
C:\ProgramData\ESET;C:\Program Files\ESET;h:\;e:\;f:\ in the exclude folder box in options>properties...is this correct or is there anything else I have to enter or change (in the screenshots)?

Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
This is correct.
You can use either h:\;e:\;f:\ or h:;e:;f: for drives.
Folders should never have a Binray Type.
Consider unchecking Include folders for Binary Type.
Is Everything showing properties for files in your excluded folders?

Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
Thanks, I just realised that I have Eset in my exclude list, presumably I can remove Eset from the properties>exclude folder?
Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
Yes.
Everything will not index properties that are excluded under Tools -> Options -> Exclude.

Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
`Thanks, does the temporary exclude list work in the same way regarding property indexing?
Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
Files in your temporary exclude list will still have their properties indexed.
Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
My temp exclusion list is different from my exclusion list...Would it be possible to have an option to enable/disable re-indexing of properties when the exclusion list is toggled on or off?
Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
Currently, no.
Re: Excluding drives in property indexing
OK, thanks...I've set up another instance of Everything, one with Exclusions enabled and one without.
