Differences: infolder, parent, nonsubfolders?

Post by Maj »

I did a quick search for the term 'infolder' on the forum and didn't see any post asking about the differences in these three. CTRL F3 with infolder on the official site only says "Search for files and folders in the specified path, excluding subfolders."
Is there any difference in these three syntaxes or is just there for convenience sake?
parent:<path>
infolder:<path>
nosubfolders:<path>

infolder: and nosubfolders: are aliases for parent:

parent:<path> matches files and folders directly in the specified path.
