Index recent changes

I'm just trying to cut down a bit on my memory usage...

I use dc:last1mins and dm:last1mins a lot, If I disable index recent changes will this affect it?

Disabling recent changes will slightly reduce the memory requirements of Everything.

To disable recent changes:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Uncheck Index recent changes.
• Click OK.

If you disable recent changes, you will lose the ability to:

• Sort by the Date Recently Changed property. (use Date Modified instead)
• Search for the Date Recently Changed property with rc: (use dm: instead)

Recent Changes is a left over feature from Everything 1.3, where Date Modified information was not indexed by default.
