Hi,
I am running Everything Version 1.5.0.1265a (x64)
On a Windows 10 PC.
I have None Mapped Network Drives
Added to the Tool>Options>Folders.
Eg: \\192.168.1.39
After clicking on Menu>View>Folders(TODO)
My Local drives appear in the left-hand column under the heading of Everything.
My Network drives appear too as :
+….\\192.168.1.39
+….\\192.168.1.62
+….C:
+….D:
+….E:
And so on:
Is there a way of may be right clicking on the IP address them renaming the individual, Networks to something more meaningful as: Games, Films, Programs.
Or another method of doing this?
Thank You.
Renaming Network Drives ?
Re: Renaming Network Drives ?
Thank you for your feedback Flourgrader,
I have on my TODO list to show volume labels for drives in the folder sidebar.
Showing nice labels for network shares would be useful too, thank you for the suggestion.
Currently, you would need to change the network share path under Tools -> Options -> Folders, try adding the network share as \\server\share (eg: \\server\Games -which would show as \\server\Games in the folder sidebar)
