I noticed today something strange. In the folder options I only included one network location folder.
However, the search results return a bunch of results from C drive as well.
I was specifically asking to show only compressed files.
This was using a portable version, running Version 1.4.1.935, off a USB drive.
How can this be fixed?

To search only your mapped network drive, please include the following in your search:
j:\
-where J: is your mapped network drive.
To search only your \\server\share, please include the following in your search:
\\server\share\
-where \\server\share\ is your NAS share.
To limit results to compressed files only, from the Search menu, click Compressed.
Filters can be activated from the Search menu, Filter bar (View -> Filters), right clicking the status bar, filter macro or filter keyboard shortcut.
Your C: drive is automatically indexed as a NTFS volume.
To remove your C: drive from your Everything index:
j:\

- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab on the left.
- Uncheck Automatically index new fixed volumes.
- Uncheck Automatically index new removable volumes.
- Select your C: drive and uncheck Include in database.
- Click OK.
