Version 1.5.0.1248a (x64) no longer indexes .eml

It looks like the current version does not index *.eml files.
It worked bevor all the time and I didn't change the config.

If I additionally add *.wdseml to the "Include only files" list they are indexed by Everything.
*.wdseml files are another type of Thunderbird mail file formats.

So the question is why does Everything not index *.eml ?

Windows search indexes *.eml (by default) and *.wdseml files thru its MIME ifilter.

I have on my TODO list to add native eml support.

For now, please add your eml files to your text/plain list.

I will add an ini option to allow eml iFilters in the next update.

Thanks, that will be very helpful because I have Thunderbird set to store mails in the Maildir format
and so I have the full mail index in Windows search which I used often before the new Everyting version came out.
I never had problems with the stored .eml files and Thunderbird works flawless
while I search for mails with Windows search.

Adding the extension eml to the plain text list does not work for me.
I made the change and also did a rebuild but still no .eml content is indexed.

• Please make sure you are using the latest Everything 1.5 alpha.
• Everything 1.5.0.1250a adds support for the following:

• Note the removal of eml; (this may already be removed as it is no longer included in v1250)
• Save changes and exit Notepad.
• In Everything, accept the prompt to reload your Everything configuration.

Everything should now use the eml-associated iFilter to read your email content.
Please note that the builtin Windows iFilter will modify eml files.

I have done all the steps and also rebuild the index
but *.eml files are not indexed.
The added *.wdseml which is also assigned to the Mime iFilter is indexed fine.
This files are in the same tree as the *.eml files.

• If successful, you should see property_system_eml=1 in the status bar for a few seconds.
