Opened documents after searches

Dear sir,
I’m very pleased with “everything”, but there is something I’m confused about. Let me know why when I click on a search result ( let’s say a document), instead of only seeing the preview the doc is opened in the background. This can be annoying because if I preview 10 documents, in the background 10 are opened which I later have to close.
I’d appreciate your insight.

Typically, Everything follows the system-wide Explorer setting for that.

However, that can be configured independently:

- Go to Menu:Tools > Options > UI
- Single click open: = Double Click
