Hello everyone
Since about a week ago, executed files open *behind* the Everything window, even though the executed file has the focus.
This means that I can't dismiss the Everything window by pressing Escape -- I have to click or Alt+tab to the Everything window before I can close it. Also, if I want to keep the Everything window open to execute multiple files (without having to retype the search), I need to move the Everything window all the way to the side (fortunately I have a large monitor) so that I can access the windows behind it. The Everything window is always in front, even if I click various windows in succession. I can minimize the Everything window, but when I restore it, it's in front of all other windows again (even if I change the focus away from it).
A temporary workaround is to set Everything to close upon file execution, but then I have to retype the search every time if I want to execute multiple files (and there isn't an option to load the previous search). This is non-ideal since I often execute multiple files from the Everything window one after the other while I'm searching for the appropriate file.
I realise that this may be a Windows issue, but no other program does this. Any idea what might be wrong? I have installed the latest version today, but the behaviour is the same.
Thanks
Samuel

Please try disabling Always on top:
- In Everything, from the View menu, from the On Top menu, click Never.

Re: Executed file opens behind Everything window
Thanks. I must have pressed Ctrl+T while Everything was open.
