Hi,
I am looking to clean out data from a camera server that records data by motion 24/7 which produces a bunch of video files.
I am looking to search by time of day - figuring say 11pm-6am is data I want to find to delete.
How can I do a search by time frame?
Find 9/1/2020-1/10/2021 all files modified from 11pm-6am.
Is that something that could be done? Any help would be great.
Thank you,
Rick
Search by time window possible?
Re: Search by time window possible?
That is not directly possible from within Everything.
See this thread for a solution that uses Microsoft Excel.
I created some solution too (select by hour/day/ minute/weekday, etc) but haven't posted it on the forum.
Will do so this weekend, if time permits ...

Re: Search by time window possible?
Thank you for getting back to me.
I was able to do this:
*.avi dm:10/06/2020T23:25:00..10/07/2020T07:00:00
Which searches for any AVI file from 11:25pm-7am the next day. The problem is it forces me to edit the day one at a time which is fairly slow.
Do you have a suggestion on something else I could try?
