I had a drive failure and had to completely reinstall Windows 10 on a new disk. I had made a backup very recently and and working to restore my programs. When I reinstalled Everything I thought I checked the right things such as not to remove offline volumes. I copied the old database which had something like 27 million items; I have over 25 hard disks for multiple backups etc, all but 3 of which are USB external drives. But no matter what I do, Everything does not look at that database and while only the local disks are searchable in the program, the file that I copied from the previous state (Everything.db) in the program directory is never changed and no other file of that name is on my C drive. So what can I do to make it use that database and not have to add and remove each USB disk?!
