Ability To Multi-File-Rename a Single File

IOW ability to have F2 (but rather Alt+F2, or whatever) open the Multi-file Rename - though on a single file.

As it is, if I want to do a (say) $titlecase(x) on a single file, I need to select at least two files (or fire up my [context-menu] batch file to SendTo the "standalone" version of (Everything) Rename).


Shift+F2 (Move To) kind of does that already, only it selects the full path+name instead of just the filename.
(Though, with some editing...
But an Alt+F2... if available, would be cleaner.)

I think it would be better to add those commands as actions to Keyboard Shortcuts.
Keyboard Shortcuts itself should be upgraded.

All commands are available under the Keyboard shortcuts options.

The Keyboard shortcuts options would most likely be the only location where you would be able to access this multi-file-rename command in the UI.
I'll consider setting a default keyboard shortcut, eg: Alt + F2.

I think you misunderstood me.

I meant to commands like:
Convert to uppercase
Convert to titlecase

The Dialog-Box "Rename" won't even open.
The user selects one/multiple items, hits the shortkey, and DONE.

Added to my TODO list: Add commands to convert the selected filenames to lowercase/uppercase/titlecase.

These commands would most likely convert the extension to lowercase.
