Searching for folders/files with and without periods at same time

Searching for folders/files with and without periods at same time

I'm a basic user that doesn't program in Basic or any other computer language.

Help?

What do you mean?


If you want files like 2019.03.21, search for 2019.03.21
-> finds: 2019.03.21..01 2019.03.21..02 2019.03.21..03

If you want files like 2019.03.21 that do not contain periods (& in this case, any filename with an extension) , search for 2019 03 21 !.
-> finds: 2019-03-21-01
but not 2019-03-21..01

If you wanta them both, search for 2019.03.21 | 2019 03 21 !.
-> finds: 2019.03.21..01 2019.03.21..02 2019.03.21..03
&
-> finds: 2019-03-21-01
