Current setup files crash with the 0xc000007b code

Post by jeiea »

Currently homepage uploaded 1.4.1.922 setup files crash on my computer.

Both x32 and x64 shows a error dialog saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click OK to terminate."

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 10.0.17134 N/A Build 17134

It may be happening only on my computer, but could it be checked?

I currently have the 1.4.1.895 x64 version installed on my Windows 10 x64 and I got a similar message:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

I also tried running the x64 installer in admin mode, both with Everything running in the background and with the Everything processes terminated. Didn't help. Anyone know the problem?

Thanks, worked like a charm. I'm now on 922, though I don't really notice any difference.

This error is an issue with the NSIS installer.

Please try the msi installer here:
