Remember external (USB) drives?

I did search the forums, but found nothing.

But, If I disconnect a previously mounted external (USB) drive will it have to re-indexed again when re-connected?

I imagine that this is documented somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

To keep offline NTFS volumes in your Everything index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the NTFS tab on the left.
• Uncheck Automatically remove offline volumes.
• Click OK.

Thank you much for the answer. Your tool is fantastic to say the least.

I haven't checked for skinning possibilities , but if so it's worthy of becoming a full commercial product.

Nothing else I've seen even comes close the the capabilities of Everything.

I will be donating before the end of the year. I'm a bit short right now today.
