different preferences

Hi all,
I have gone through the preferences and found no chance to store different ones. So I have alway to go to the preferences if I'm only lookong for pictures or mp3 files or epubs....... It would be nice to have such a feature available - or didn't I find it???

This is my only concern with this really great program

Not quite sure what you're saying.

But there are built in filters, Search (menu item); Everything, Audio, Compressed, Document ...

They can be accessed from the Search dropdown, or you can add the Filter bar, View -> Filters.

And then you can add (new) or modify (existing) filters as you desire.

You can also store a search via menu "Bookmarks".

To create a new filter or edit an existing one:

• In Everything, from the Search menu, click Organize filters....
• Click New or select and filter and click Edit.
