Sometimes it will be good to find items no matter where the query lies: at the foldername/filename or in its content.
Searching MP3 files for example,
You want to find items by searching a query that can be found in any part of the mp3 file.

BTW: The "Match Path" setting in the filter had no effect; I had to explicitly enable the Menu:Search > Match Path setting

It's amazing how you remember this stuff. Well done.
However, I can say:
WIndows Explorer currently works much better than Everything in this case.
But I found also a downside for WIndows Explorer:
Windows does not search in all characters of the word. Only at the beginning of words. Try:
Roc
ock

This was more a rough suggestion to see if I did understand correctly what you wanted (it wasn't obvious to me).
It has flaws. For example when you search for rock ànd empty, those have to be both in filename or content.
I largely disabled Windows Search (or whatever it is called this year), with the exception of the startmenu, so hardly any experience with it.
Not sure, but I vaguely remember that you needed to do a *ock or even *ock* to get results.

I don't even know if utf16content: is valid for all MP3's. It just happened to work in my test. Still a massively brute force approach. This was just a couple of MP3's. I wouldn't think of trying this on my complete music collection ...

I'm thinking about how Everything can have the power of Windows Search.
I think it will require to make another search mode - Search Everywhere.
The results pane will be separated to 3 parts and the results will be retrieved from:
1. Everything.db (Like it now, Foldernames and Filenames, changes are monitored all the time)
2. Content_Indexing.db (changes are rebuild manually, or one at a time)
3. Querying... (Like it now, but much improved, trying to find content in files that haven't been content indexed)
