Windows 10 game dvr thinks Everything is a game
When I open it, or change its size, windows 10 shows 'starting microphone recording for this game' in the top right. I did not set it to think this was a game. If I did that I could do a simple win+g, then unclick the setting 'remember this as a game'. That setting is not there since I did not set this.
Re: Windows 10 game dvr thinks Everything is a game
For whatever reason, Microsoft decided that a file with the filename "Everything.exe" is a game.
Please try renaming your Everything.exe to something else, eg: Everything.is.not.a.game.exe
Please note you will need to reset the general options after renaming your Everything:

Re: Windows 10 game dvr thinks Everything is a game
Hi care to explain what or how exactly this is done? Like i know for instance, certain nvidia utilities can set certain graphics flags depending on the name of the executable and so on, so is it somewhere hardcoded in windows 10 that Everything.exe is a game or is this actually a easter egg that windows 10 is recording everything u are doing?
Re: Windows 10 game dvr thinks Everything is a game
It is hard coded in Windows 10, that a file with the file name Everything.exe is a game.

And here is why: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everything_(video_game)
