Everything 1.4.1.877 not updating to next version

hello there,

i have 1.4.1.877 (x32 and x64 installed on various machines) and none of them find an update for Version 1.4.1.895 released Friday, 9 February 2018.

it was released a month a go but i use Everything every day, it should've seen the update. i even tested with AV off.

is this a known bug or just on my end?

my guess is: 877 is the latest stable version, everything released after is labeled as beta.

if you switch to the beta channel, there might be automatic updates also for betas, i always download them manually though... so this is another guess.

The 895 update will be pushed out slowly.

895 is only a small update to 877.

To enable the beta updates:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/beta_updates=1
