Adding more keys (in this case Mouse keys) for hotkeys customization always can be better.
But you need to give real examples for what you looked for. What uses are you going to use with that?

An example is for File | Open Selection and Close Everything. I have Enter set for that, but I'd also like Left-Double-Click for that too.

I will consider customizable mouse click actions.

To Open selection and close Everything after using left double click:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  Click the Results tab on the left.
  Check Close window on execute.
  Click OK.
