Hello,
Love the program, it is fantastic. Came across a weird result though, I have all my drives added, and they all work, EXCEPT my letter K drive, and it is NTFS, and it does show up in the list of Local NTFS Volumes, and it does have Include in Database checked, it has same settings as all my other drives. It is a USB drive, but it isn't the only USB drive on the list. It has zero results stored, I checked by searching just K:, when I do this with every other drive letter, the full results post.
Thank you for the assistance!
Missing K Drive (NTFS)
Re: Missing K Drive (NTFS)
Please try the latest nightly build:
- Completely exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit)
- Extract the Everything.exe from the nightly build zip to your C:\Program Files\Everything
- Please backup anything important on your drive before checking it for errors.
- In Windows Explorer, right click your K: drive and click Properties.
- Click the Tools tab.
- Click Check now....
- Click Start.
- If prompted to schedule a scan on the next restart, click Yes.
Re: Missing K Drive (NTFS)
Ok, I updated to the latest nightly build, and scanned the drive for errors, came back with zero errors.
Still behaves the same way unfortunately.

Re: Missing K Drive (NTFS)
Could you please send the debug output after forcing a rebuild:
- In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/debug_log - Type in the following search and press ENTER:
/reindex - After reindexing is complete, please send your %TEMP%\Everything Debug Log.txt to support@voidtools.com
- In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/restart
Re: Missing K Drive (NTFS)
Once I enabled debug logging, and doing /reindex, it suddenly worked with K drive.... I have no idea why it finally worked that time, only thing else was I also had connected another USB drive, but I didn't change any drive letters.
Unless /reindex does something different than Force Rebuild button in the options....
It is a mystery!

Re: Missing K Drive (NTFS)
The reindex might have been necessary when upgrading to the latest nightly build, I suspect the latest build saw your previous empty index of your K: as valid.
/reindex is the same as a force rebuild.
