How assign hotkey to filter by file category ?

Post by burgundy »

I often use the drop-down combo box to filter results by file category (such as audio, folder, executable).

However I would like to press a particular hotkey and have the results filtered by one of the categories (say, documents). If this is possible then how would I do it?

Thank you.

Menu: Search > Organize Filters... > [Select] > Edit... > Keyboard Shortcut (at bottom)

Thank you. I had been looking in Options > General > Keyboard.

What does the entry for "macro" do?
