Scout bot is indispensable

Hello David,

I saw in different thread that has been discussed already and function implemented. But is there any way to add Scout bot function to current window of Everything? It's indispensable function for me while using different program. I need to see in main screen what happening and where which files changing or downloading while I can search any other file.

There is no "scout bot" pane in Everything, you can however sort by recent changes in Everything.

To sort by recent changes:

• In Everything, from the View menu, from the Sort by sub menu, click Date recently changed (Ctrl + 9)

It's not likely, I'll re-consider it in Everything 1.5.

just came to my mind. It will be very good if program have different folder filter for scout bot (assuming if you decide to add scout bot in 1.5 release) because in current release if I exclude folders to hide un necessary files in last modified menu, I also lost search ability on those folders.

I'll be reviewing a recently modified pane in Everything 1.5.

For now you can instantly sort by date modified in Everything 1.4.

If I am understanding what you mean by scoutbot correctly.
I achieve the same thing by having an Everything window with '*' as the search set for created today and sorted by time -> ' * dc:today'
I sometimes limit it to a dir tree by specifying a path within quotes.
If I could use the date constant for things like hours here, it would be great.

Such as 'dc:1hour' for instance.

Yes, they both do, thank you.
The lack of working examples of combinant examples prevented me from realizing they could be combined that way.
It may have also just been a brain fart on my part though.

Thanks guys for your feedback. Actually I do use recently modified files function already. But I meant (seems David also understood that) to have a specialized pane for this search criteria so it will be shown up in main everything window in small pane.
