While sorting is not the solution for million of files, filtering by size, date, flags will be quite useful feature.

Sorting is undergoing some major changes to improve gathering and sorting by file information performance.
Setting a search range might become a possibility for smaller results lists..

So, search by date\time\flags is in ToDo list? Are this attrs in the same File Table you use for filesearch? The date and attrs obviously are not indexed during MFT scan, as i've noticed...

I second the idea and suggest to extend the attribs to all the NTFS properties.

In addition, having a syntax similar to the syntax of Windows Desktop Search can make learning the syntax easier for the users (considering the large amount of available tutorials on the subject). In addition, this reduces the efforts needed for documentation.
