What is the easiest way to copy a filter?
Re: What is the easiest way to copy a filter?
Oh, only guessing...
Filters.csv (you can use Everything to find it ).
Edit it with a text editor.
Copy the filter (record, line) you want to duplicate, paste it & give it a new name.
And of course you'd need to maintain the integrity of the csv.
Suppose you'd want to do that with Everything (GUI) closed.

Thank you very much.
Yes, that works. Actually I had hoped there would be a more convenient manner.
Many thanks again

Say you want a copy of Audio:
- export all filters
- In Everything, delete all filters except Audio
- Edit Audio and give it a new name
- Import filters.

... and you have now a script for seperate filters, so you could also:
- Give Audio a new name and change settings
- Import Audio filter
- Give Audio a new name and change settings
- Import Audio filter

Yes, you are right, of course, using the script makes it very easy, thank you.
